kate knysh is an artist, a freelance marketer and a mother of two.
she studied visual communications and fine arts at james madison university and art history in florence, italy at the british institute. kate spent over a decade racing in the world of advertising, from new york city's mccann-erickson to san francisco's goodby, silverstein & partners. she jumped off of the corporate rollercoaster for a few years when her children were young and has launched back into the world of art and stories at waterplace studio.
kate lives in the Washington D.C. area with her husband, their two children and puppy, Lulu Roxy Knysh.
